What the daily password is
Every day, CodyCross releases a special bonus puzzle called the Daily Password. To access it, you enter a specific word or phrase (the "password") into the game. Completing the bonus puzzle rewards you with coins, which are the in-game currency used to buy hints.
The password changes every 24 hours. Today's password is always at codycross-answers.com/daily-password.
Where to find it in the game
Open CodyCross and look for the password entry field on the main screen — it's usually labeled "Daily Password" or "Enter Password." Type in the current day's word and the bonus puzzle unlocks immediately. The puzzle itself is short (one group of clues) and takes most players 5-10 minutes.
What rewards you get
Completing the daily password puzzle gives you coins. The exact amount varies but is typically enough for 1-2 hints. More importantly, doing it every day compounds — seven days of passwords gives you enough coins to clear several difficult clues across your main progression without spending anything.
When it resets
The daily password resets at midnight UTC. If you miss a day, the previous password no longer works to unlock rewards — but you can catch up using our archive, which lists every past password with its date.
Using the password archive
Our daily password page keeps a full archive of past passwords. This is useful if you missed a day and want to check what the password was, or if you're joining the game late and want to look back. Note that only the current day's password unlocks the current day's bonus puzzle — past passwords won't give rewards.
